Welcome to the official Website of The Pacific Structural Steel Conference 2007. The Conference was held in March of 2007 at the Wairakei Resort Hotel in the heart of the world's most volcanically active region. Appropriately, the main theme of the conference was Steel Structures in Natural Hazards.

The Conference was a great success, and saw over 250 delegates and their partners from all over the Pacific Rim and even as far off as the UK, South Africa and the Middle East, savouring the wide variety of papers, topics and discussions, as well as the local cusine and sights. We hope those who joined us at the picturesque Wairakei Resort , situated a short distance from the town of Taupo and  beautiful Lake Taupo between the 13th and 16th of March have enjoyed their stay, both for professional and leisure purposes.
